Research Scientist Required Qualification: (as evidenced by an attached resume) ● Doctoral degree (or foreign equivalent) in optical imaging, biomedical engineering, microbiology, multi-omics, or a closely related field. ● Three (3) years of research experience in optical imaging, biomedical engineering, microbiology, or multi-omics to to include at least one year of research experience following attainment of a Doctoral degree or foreign equivalent. ● Basic knowledge and some research experience in optical imaging, microbiology or antimicrobial agents. Preferred Qualification: ● PhD related to optical imaging or microbiology. ● Experience with optical instrumentation or device. ● Experience with microbiology wet lab techniques. ● Experience with animal models of bacterial/fungal wound infections. ● Experience mentoring trainees or managing projects.
