Job Details Scheduling Optimization Specialist - M-F, 8a-5:30p PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Scheduling Optimization Specialist is responsible for the oversight, maintenance, and quality assurance of provider scheduling templates across the enterprise. This role supports the organization’s scheduling optimization strategy by ensuring templates are accurately built, consistently applied, and aligned with established standards and Epic system functionality. Working under the direction of the Scheduling Optimization Manager, the Specialist is accountable for carrying out template-related activities including intake review, template build and updates, validation, communication, and ongoing maintenance. This role plays a critical part in supporting patient access, provider schedule integrity, and operational consistency across clinical, procedural, and hospital-based service lines. The Specialist is expected to demonstrate strong attention to detail, a clear understanding of scheduling workflows, and the ability to execute work with accuracy and consistency in a fast-paced, highly coordinated environment.
