Job description
Department Overview Direct care as a Psychiatrist for patients within the Center for Women's Health (a multispecialty, integrated setting) including, but not limited to psychiatric evaluation, psychopharmacologic and psychotherapy services. The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university's missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service. Function/Duties of Position: Including, but not limited to, providing direct patient care, evaluation and treatment in areas of mental health common to or specific to women such as depression, anxiety, perinatal loss and bereavement, perinatal mood disorders, female sexual dysfunction, adult developmental issues (menopause, aging, chronic illness, disability, pregnancy, etc.), and partnership/marital concerns. The Psychiatrist will work as a member of the Reproductive Psychiatry and Behavioral Health division to optimize operations in order to create a fiscally viable operation as well as an excellent patient care and learning environment.
