Position Title: Summer Student What You’ll Do: - Request samples from chemical manufacturers and internal Univar branches to ship to customers - Process sample requests using in-house computer database and software - Package and ship samples to customers - Maintain sample inventory: order new samples, dispose of expired samples, and update sample inventory sheet - Be able to handle rush requests effectively - Track shipments and confirm delivery - Other duties as required What You’ll Need: - Minimum two years of Chemistry post-secondary education or related experience is preferred - Knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word would be an asset - Be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines - Knowledge in TDG and WHMIS or GHS would be an asset - Strong problem solving and organizational skills - Strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment Where You’ll Work: Univar Solutions is a leading, global distributor of chemicals and ingredients esse...
