Job description

As a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal, you will work on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions such as reviewing contracts, reviewing due diligence such as title insurance commitments, surveys and zoning reports, drafting deeds, transfer tax forms and other affidavits, and communicating with all parties to the transaction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of commercial real estate experience. Where You’ll Work: The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal is an hourly non-exempt position and will work full-time at any of our Ohio offices (Toledo, Columbus or Akron). What You’ll Do: - Draft and review commercial real estate documents including but not limited to purchase and sale agreements, deeds, affidavits, notes, mortgages, UCC financing statements, easements, leases, loans, corporate filings and resolutions, and other related commercial real estate documents. - Facilitate, track, and satisfy due diligence requirements for seller and purchaser and lenders. - Consult with title companies, survey firms, property inspectors and environmental consultants. - Contact various governmental offices and conduct public record searches to obtain real estate ownership,...
