Job Description The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) invests in a network of community-based organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and to provide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish. Workforce Connect (a division of DYCD) is comprised of a portfolio of Youth and Adult Workforce Development programs, including those that focus primarily on in-school youth such as the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), Work, Learn and Grow (WLG), and Learn & Earn as well as programs for Out-of-School, Out-of-Work (OSOW) community members such as Advance & Earn, Train & Earn, and CRED-NYC. In partnership with NYC Public Schools (NYCPS), DYCD is launching the Industry Hub initiative, a transformative investment in career-connected learning. The initiative will establish three citywide Industry Hubs in Technology, Healthcare, and Business/Finance designed to create coordinated career pathways and expand work-based learning opportunities for youth in the CareerReady SYEP and WLG programs.
