Description Position Summary: The Physical Security Engineer – Programmer will work closely with the Senior Physical Security Programming Engineer and onsite technical team to program and configure door access, video surveillance, intercoms, etc., in addition to, supporting the network components of the physical security installation. Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions: - Work as a member of the HBS Physical Security Team that provides consultative and proactive project management support to HBS’s account base. - Obtain knowledge on other technologies, as directed by customer demand. - Serve both external and internal clients’ needs, understanding their concerns, and seeking to build trust. - Provide sales consultants and fellow Engineers with physical security design assistance, review, validation, and optimization of systems and protocols. - Contribute to product selection and research, configuration standards and best practices. - Understanding of common vulnerabilities and associated risk mitigation strategies. - Articulate complicated security concepts in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution across the spectrum of systems engineering and int...
