Job description

Overview The Site Buyer manages all purchasing, sourcing, and inventory activities that support daily manufacturing plant operations. This role ensures timely availability of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) parts, plant consumables, and shop supplies while maintaining cost effectiveness, inventory accuracy, and strong system integrity. The Site Buyer partners closely with Maintenance, Operations, and Performance teams to manage spend, support equipment reliability, and ensure purchasing and inventory processes are executed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities: Purchasing & Sourcing: - Procure all MRO parts, equipment, and plant consumables - Execute sourcing and purchasing activities through the MyBuy procurement system - Ensure timely order placement, delivery, and issue resolution - Support cost control through price comparison, supplier selection, and spend visibility Inventory Management & Control: - Monitor and manage inventory levels to support plant reliability while minimizing excess and obsolescence - Own inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation - Oversee storeroom organization, part labeling, and inventory standar...
