Full-time| Tuesday thru Friday 7am-5:30PM| PG7| Weekly earned wage access is an option. Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Dental Assistant 3 provides clerical and clinical duties in the Dental Clinic, is certified in multiple expanded functions, and supports dentists in providing dental services per the regulations set by the Oklahoma State Board of Dentistry . The Dental Assistant 3 will assist in managing the flow of the dental team. Requirements: IHS Radiology Certificate within one [1] year of hire BLS Certification within 30 days of hire Two [2] years of dental assisting experience - Patient education expert on proper oral hygiene techniques, postoperative care, and overall oral health. - Ensure all dental staff adhere to infectious control protocols when assisting the dentist during procedures, ensuring instruments, equipment, and materials are prepared and set up. - Take dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring patient safety and keeping abreast of latest techniques through continuing education. - Provide thorough pediatric and adult cleanings, applying dental materials including sealants and fluoride treatments during cleanings, performing supragingival scaling, placing alloy a...
