Job Summary: Under administrative direction of the Executive Director for TRIO Student Support Services, the Assistant Director is responsible for the coordination of the recruitment, enrollment and academic support of program participants for the SSS - Teacher Preparation program. Reports to the SSS Executive Director. Job Description: Assist in supervising project programming, budget management, recruitment initiatives and social media presence for SSS. Responsible for academic monitoring and follow-up tracking. Collect and organize data necessary for program effectiveness. Hire, supervise, train and evaluate SSS Advisor, Peer Coach, and faculty coaches. Develop, implement and evaluate tracking system for enrollment/academic progress. Serve as academic advisor for program participants. Assist with the coordination of developmental education (Math, English or Reading) for program participants.
