GAI Consultants, Inc. is looking for a Senior Roadway inspector to conduct inspections for our growing highway construction workload. This position will work out of our Jacksonville, FL office. Responsibilities: Requirements: Education - Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments such as in-field surveying and construction layout and making and checking engineering computations. - Inspect construction work and conduct field tests. - Coordinate and manage the lower-level inspectors. - Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator - High school diploma or better Certifications: - 10 years of experience in roadway or bridge construction inspection. - 2 years of which should in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection with the exception of Complex Category 2 (CC2) bridge structures or a Civil Engineering degree and 1 year of road & bridge CEI experience with the ability to earn additional required certifications within 1 year. - ACI Concrete Field Technician Level I - CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level - CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I - CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II - CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I - CTQP Earthwor...
