Job Details: Job Description DT04 Driver Support Trainer Instructor: Purpose: This position is responsible for training and supporting Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDLA) drivers. Training and development will include new hire on-boarding, annual recurring, behavior-based, and remedial post event. Driver Support Trainers will be available to assist drivers with any day-to-day situations they may encounter. Responsibilities: Must be familiar with Department of Transportation regulations with a specific focus on Hours of Service, Driver Qualifications, Electronic Logging Device, Navigation, Permits, and Vehicle Inspections. Ability to train CDL drivers with various levels of experience. Deliver instruction both in a classroom and one on one settings through practical, hands-on training. Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with drivers, operators, and management. Customer service-oriented approach, assisting drivers and managers through phone support, e-mail, or personal interactions. Conduct onsite training sessions with drivers at field locations.
