Department: Athletics Position Overview: In conjunction with the Director & Deputy Director of Athletics, Recreation & Physical Education, this position will direct, plan and organize UMBC’s 17 intercollegiate athletics programs and support functions. Provide overall direction and support for a full-time staff and approximately 75 coaches and administrators. This position will ensure program operations are of high quality and integrity and are functioning in support of the overall University vision, mission, and values. The Sr. Associate Athletic Director, Deputy Title IX Coordinator serves as a strategic leader within UMBC's Athletic Department, focusing on legal affairs, governance, contract management, and Title IX coordination. This role is pivotal to ensuring that the department's operations align with institutional policies, legal standards, and best practices, thereby fostering an environment of equity, integrity and excellence.
