MH: Patient Food Services- Full Time, Varied Shifts) - Job Summary: The Nutritional Services Ambassador is responsible for accurate and timely delivery of patient meals and communicates to unit staff when items are delivered. Collects soiled patient tray carts from nursing units and returning tray carts to dish room. Sets-up and services the patient tray line accurately and timely. Cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Aids in overall cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum one year customer service experience required. Knowledge and Skills: Able to safely operate foodservice equipment (trayline warmers, toasters, coffee makers, storage and delivery carts, etc). Exhibits excellent customer service at all times. Involved in giving instructions and training to new employees and dietetic students. Able to stay in the freezer (0 degrees Fahrenheit) or refrigerator (40 degrees Fahrenheit) for up to one hour at a time.
