Department: 02252 AMG Elmhurst - OB/GYN: General Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Ultrasound Tech II FLOAT- PRN Position, M-F as needed during working OBGYN office hours of 8am - 6pm. No holidays or weekends required. Float position between locations: Elmhurst: 360 W Butterfield Rd. Lombard: 454 E Roosevelt Rd. Good Sam: 3743 Highland Ave: South Downers: 6840 S Main Street Pay Range: $37.50 - $56.25 Major Responsibilities: - Positioning of patients and proper selection of technical factors and equipment to obtain scans of optimal quality making use of any necessary immobilization techniques - 1)Positions, transfers and immobilizes patients for procedures to ensure optimal quality exams are obtained. - 2)Assists physicians with various recommendations for obtaining optimal studies by suggesting selections for technical factors for procedures. - 3)Works independently when required to perform basic ultrasound exams. - 4)Will act as lead technologist in their absence. - Responsible for securing pertinent history from the patient for each procedure in order to provide the Radiologist with adequate information before film...
