CBA Quality Assurance Representative - Aircraft Mechanic III (P-8) - NTWP - Pt Mugu, CA

Job description

Perform O-Level quality assurance on assigned aircraft. Works from blueprints, maintenance manuals, quality control procedures, quality instructions, contractor standard specifications, Naval inspection manual/cards and military technical directives. Inspects aircraft mechanical, electrical and electronic systems assemblies and engines using general and special test equipment. Monitors all required inspections of maintenance procedures and systems checkouts and is authorized to inspect safety of flight related maintenance actions. Performs as liaison with Government quality verification personnel. Comply with all current sections of NAVAIRINST 3710.1 (series) and CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) as applicable to Aircraft Maintenance, and a thorough knowledge of flight line operations. Maintains required logs and records. Ensures work area is maintained in a neat and orderly manner and that all safety rules and regulations are observed. Works with other groups or personnel to resolve problems.
