POSITION SUMMARY: Specialty Courts in the Massachusetts Trial Court are judicially supervised, intensive probation programs designed to address underlying behavioral health issues, which may drive criminal behavior and decision-making by individuals. The masters level Specialty Court Clinician is a member of the Specialty Court Team and conducts screening and assessment of potential participants, makes treatment recommendations, provides short-term case management, monitors treatment compliance and engagement, and translates clinical information and findings for non-clinical members of the Specialty Court Team. Position : Specialty Court Clinician: Department : Research Psychiatry: Schedule : Full Time: ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: Provides clinical screening, psychosocial and behavioral health assessments and treatment planning for participants in various types of Specialty Courts across the Massachusetts Trial Court using evidence-based tools, including completion of intakes, assessing client eligibility for session, and ongoing case management and clinical needs.
