Job description
The Mammography Technologist works under the direct supervision of the Radiology Director and reports to the Director and/or Assistant Director. The Mammography Technologist operates a variety of equipment for screening and diagnostic purposes in the detection of disease. The technologist upholds the mission and vision of Murray Calloway County Hospital and follows all hospital policies and departmental procedures. Minimum Education: - Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program or equivalent. Required Licenses: - ARRT registered - Must hold a radiation operator's license in the state of Kentucky. - Mammography certification from ARRT preferred. - Current CPR. Minimum Work Experience: - Two years post graduate Radiologic experience preferred in a hospital setting.
