Flex-N-Gate is a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry, recently ranked 10th of the 150 Top North American Suppliers in “Automotive News.” A growing and vital company, Flex-N-Gate provides a great opportunity for hard-working and skilled individuals. Scope: The intern will be working on continuous improvement projects focusing on standardized work implementation and process documentation using lean principles. They will be working in all areas of our plant including fascia assembly, weld assembly, and upcoming MY26 launch of front fascia. Work closely with the Quality Manager as your mentor. Learn different aspects of the business including assembly process, potential failure mode and effect analysis, control plans, data collection and analysis, developing standardized work instructions, line balancing, process optimization. Focus on continuous improvement to ensure most efficient and productive operation of manufacturing processes.
