Hands On Tech Lead / Engineering Manager

Job description

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a senior team of engineers while staying deeply involved in the systems, code, and product decisions that shape a core part of Performativ’s platform. You will own a product area end to end, working closely with stakeholders and clients to solve real problems and deliver resilient solutions at scale. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in complexity, drives execution, and raises the bar for how modern engineering teams build. What you’ll do 📈: Lead a team of junior-to-senior engineers responsible for a core product area. Own systems end to end with your team, from discovery and design to production and support. Stay hands-on in the codebase, especially in critical, high-impact, or complex areas. Engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders to understand real problems and shape effective solutions. Drive delivery across the team with clarity, momentum, and a high bar for quality. Design, build, and evolve systems that scale reliably under real-world usage.
