Electrical Engineer (Arc Flash / Power Systems)

Job description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Arc Flash analysis and electrical power systems design to support complex industrial and DOE-regulated projects. This role includes responsibilities across analysis, design, and field implementation, with increasing opportunities for technical leadership and project management development. The ideal candidate will not only provide high-quality engineering support but also demonstrate the leadership aptitude, communication skills, and accountability required to progress into a Project Manager (PM) role, including managing on-site teams and coordinating multidisciplinary project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Perform Arc Flash studies and coordination studies in accordance with NFPA 70E and IEEE standards. - Conduct short circuit, load flow, and protective device coordination analysis. - Support design and modification of low and medium voltage power distribution systems. - Develop single line diagrams, panel schedules, wiring diagrams, and specifications. - Evaluate existing electrical infrastructure and recommend upgrades or corrective actions. - Support field walkdowns, construction support, and commissioning ac...
