JOB SUMMARY: The Athletics Counseling Team within Student Health and Wellness (SHaW) Mental Health at The University of Connecticut (Storrs Campus) is searching for a full-time licensed clinician with specific expertise and professional background in delivering culturally affirming and responsive clinical mental health services with a particular focus on working with College Student-Athletes identified as Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC). The incumbent must evidence a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity issues in the delivery of clinical services and to promoting social justice and human dignity and eliminating the impact of oppression in a collegiate mental health setting. The position is a full-time, 12-month in-person position reporting to the Director for Student-Athlete Mental Health Services, located on the Storrs Campus. The University of Connecticut is a member of the Big East Conference, an NCAA Division I institution, Hockey East Conference and an affiliate in the Coastal Athletic Conference.
