Job Description: A vacancy for a Space System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid (Getafe). The successful applicant will join the EOS Chief Engineering Department in Spain (TSESS). We are seeking a highly skilled Satellite Systems Engineer with a background in small satellite and constellation systems development. In this role, you will lead the engineering efforts for satellite development projects, with a particular emphasis on the industrialization, design-to-cost and design-to-manufacturing of small- and mid-sized satellites. The main focus of this position is the development of a (V)LEO satellite product line with potential for defence and institutional missions (constellations and stand-alone small satellites). You will work in a multi-disciplinary system engineering team and will be a key contributor to the on-cost, on-time and on-quality product delivery to our customers.
