Position summary: Kilgore College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Cheer Coach to lead and develop a highly competitive cheer program that aligns with the college’s commitment to academic success, student development, and athletic excellence. The Head Coach will be responsible for building and sustaining an elite level program capable of competing at the national level, while fostering a culture of discipline, accountability, and student-athlete success. Position responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of the competitive cheer program. - Design and implement elite-level routines, including stunting, tumbling, pyramids, and choreography, with the goal of competing at national championships (e.g., NCA Daytona). - Lead all practices, conditioning sessions, and performance preparations. - Evaluate performance through film review and technical analysis to ensure continuous improvement.
