The role As part of the broader Combat System Engineering team, the Combat Systems Engineer is primarily responsible for contributing to the execution of prescribed systems engineering activities that will be applied to upgrade packages developed under Destroyer Capability Enhancement to be installed on in-service Aegis Combat System-equipped naval platforms within the RAN fleet. Further, the successful candidate will: Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and a 9-day fortnight will be considered for this role. - Contribute to systems engineering activities such as requirements analysis, architecture definition and development of system and subsystem design and integration strategies and plans. - Provide technical support in the execution of physical integration of subsystems, development of compartment layouts, and development of ECPs. - Provide a high level of advice on system engineering activities to a range of stakeholders across the project. - Collaborate with the Systems Engineering Integration Team and Transverse Engineering disciplines such as Security Assurance, Safety, and ILS. - Contribute to and maintain the Systems Engineering Framework to...
