Overview Help shape the future of technology and society! The Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C®) is an international association managed by SRI with a mission to grow the quantum economy via community-building and collaboration. QED-C is searching for a Technology Policy Intern to work with its Law & Policy Technical Advisory Committee during the summer and/or fall semester 2026. The Intern will work a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day from home) based at SRI’s office in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities: The Technology Policy Intern will develop and apply appropriate methodologies to evaluate the effect of salient policy issues on the industry, draft persuasive and evidence-based position papers, monitor and summarize policy documents and relevant legislation, and travel within the National Capital Region to support briefings and in-person events. Applicants are encouraged to define a feasible side project (20% time) and how it will be impactful. The Intern will report to the QED-C Deputy Director with additional direction from QED-C members serving on the policy subcommittee. Qualifications: The salary range is: $20-$38.00/hr.
