Description Job Title: Dispatcher: Reports To: Operations Manager: FLSA Status & EEO Code: Non FLSA Exempt & Administrative Support Worker Division/Department: GHM/Operations: Salary Grade: B23 - Hourly: Level of Work: Level I: Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Production Lead or his/her designee, uses dispatch reports and prioritized schedules to anticipate work center requirements. Through close liaison with the department lead, monitors work center status to keep designated authority advised of issues impacting production. The dispatcher performs an assortment of clerical duties to ensure accuracy of information along with distribution of materials and appropriate paperwork to work centers. Job Duties: · Routinely reviews dispatch report to anticipate production requirements. · Distributes travelers, burn/nest lists and drawings to work centers as material is requisitioned in order to complete operations on time. · Will monitor traveler status, observing completed operations, past due items and incorrect entries.
