Description Job Title: Distribution Center Associate: Department: Distribution Center: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: Reports to: Director of DC Operations Position Summary: Responsible for projecting and preserving the Family Express “Living Brand” by providing support to employees including drivers and distribution center team members in a clean, safe and friendly environment. To provide our customers with total satisfaction. To serve our community through volunteerism and produce a return on assets which will assure the future prosperity of our employees and our company. To be an ambassador of our “Living Brand” by building relationships with our customers. Essential Functions: - Load and unload freight, empty containers, and various products including milk, sandwiches, bread, general merchandise, etc. from and to the Perishable and Dry Goods trucks - Prepare the perishable trucks for their route. This includes removing and loading empty containers - Receive in product, count it and compare to the appropriate invoice.
