CADRE is relied upon for delivering superior insight and leadership to solve the nation's most critical national security challenges in the most demanding environments. This Database Administrator position is located in Northern Virginia with flexible core hours. The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for implementing, modifying, and deploying software affecting mission critical networks/systems as well as determining ways to organize and store data. The DBA will identify user requirements, set up computer databases, and test and coordinate modifications to the computer database systems. DBA ensures the performance of the system, understands the platform on which the database runs, and adds new users to the system. Finally, the DBA plans and coordinates security measures and has a knowledge of data integrity, backup systems, and database security.
