Geo-Technology Associates (GTA) is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Technician with a strong background in special inspections and construction materials testing to support projects throughout Central Florida. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on threshold buildings inspection experience who are committed to quality, safety, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Perform special inspections in accordance with Florida Building Code (FBC) requirements, including threshold building inspections - Inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable codes - Conduct field testing, sampling, and inspections (concrete, masonry, structural steel, etc.) - Prepare and maintain detailed daily field reports and inspection documentation - Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project managers to communicate findings and resolve issues - Assist with technical reporting and documentation for project deliverables Requirements: Ideal Candidate Profile: You bring a strong foundation in construction inspections and meet at least one of the following: Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in special inspections and/or constru...
