Description The University of Chicago's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is searching for a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor. The appointee will primarily be responsible for evaluating patients, assisting primary teams in the development of treatment plans, and providing ongoing care as indicated. The Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist will be responsible for communicating and collaborating with medical and surgical colleagues to optimize patient care. The appointee will provide clinical leadership in interdisciplinary collaboration with all members of the multidisciplinary team. Outpatient opportunities will include the supervision of a medical-psychiatric clinic. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.
