Carpenter Foreman SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Carpenter Foreman that will provide oversight to project carpentry crews and coordinate, implement and supervise all self-performed work. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure proper IWP is in place and understood by the crew; examine blueprints to determine structure dimensions - Lay out floor plans and cabinetwork using tape, framing square, and calipers - Select and inspect materials and structural units (lumber, prefabricated doors, cabinets, paneling) for code compliance - Determine sequence of fabrication, assembly, and erection activities; assign tasks to workers - Inspect subcontractor work (ductwork, wiring, pipe installations) for specification conformance - Install doors, build stairs, lay hardwood floors, and perform concrete and rough carpentry (hand set walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural concrete decks, slabs, columns, drywall) - Perform finish carpentry (set door frames, hang doors, install hardware, toilet accessories, handrails, partitions, lockers, cabinets, countertops, wall paneling, coffered ceilings, running trim) - Lead team members by example, offer coaching and feedback, build relationships with div...
