Environmental Service Spec I - ( 260003EF ) Description Tewksbury Hospital, under the Department of Public Health (DPH), a 370 Joint Commission accredited hospital is currently hiring EVS Hospital Cleaners to work for the Environmental Services Department at Tewksbury Hospital on 1st shift and 2nd shift. The hospital provides a broad treatment of care and comfort to adults with medical and/or mental illnesses. Please note: This position is a 40 hours per week position. 1st shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. days off will be every other weekend and varied days off during the week. Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive): - Performs day-to-day housekeeping services to the main hospital and other buildings on campus to ensure a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards. - Sweeps, vacuums and washes floors, using appropriate equipment and supplies to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hospital. - Dusts, polishes and washes interior surfaces such as windows, furniture, walls, ceilings etc. using appropriate supplies/equipment in order to maintain building in a clean and orderly c...
