Opportunity Summary: The Project Accountant is responsible for all accounting activity related to audio visual installation projects including project and budget creation in the accounting system’s project module, revenue recognition, management of sales tax, and client invoicing among other duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Setup projects based on contracts, including project budgets, within Microsoft Dynamic’s Great Plains (GP) Accounting software - Interface with Project Managers to determine status (percent-of-completion) of Audio Visual projects - Recognize Revenue, based on information from Project Managers on percent-of-project completion, using the Project Accounting Module within Great Plains - Prepare client i nvoices based on proposal terms, payment schedule and project status .
