Title Overnight Grocery Stocker Pay Grade: Non-Exempt Major Department: Grocery: Minor Department: Grocery: Reports to: Grocery Department Manager, Store Manager: Job Summary: Grocery clerks are responsible for ensuring the grocery department is well-stocked for our customers. S/he must assist in the receiving, storing, and stocking of products while guaranteeing proper product rotation and quality. S/he must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers in locating items. As a PFM team member, s/he must exemplify the Pete’s Four Pillars of Value, Aesthetic, Quality, and Customer Service. Essential Job Responsibilities: - Provide everyone (both internal and external customers) with exceptional customer service. - Ensure service standards are met, and often exceed company expectations. - Effectively handle and stock grocery products. - Rotate and monitor quality of products and signs, stock and merchandise products in their department, build product displays, and handle product damages and credits according to company policy. - Complete all stocking and clean-up duties in an efficient and timely manner. - Assist with the actual store operation acti...
