Contracts Works Officer (Gas) Permanent: Grade C - £35,412 - £44,075 per annum Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: Hybrid: Overview of the Role: Birmingham City Council are seeking a proactive and experienced Gas Contracts Works Officer to support the effective delivery and management of gas servicing, maintenance and capital works across the Council’s housing stock. The postholder will play a key role in ensuring statutory gas compliance, contract performance, resident safety and service quality. You will act as a technical and operational link between contractors, internal teams and residents, ensuring works are delivered to programme, budget and required standards. This is an essential role in supporting the Council’s responsibilities as a landlord and maintaining safe, compliant homes.
