Job Title: Educator-RN Department: Nursing Education Location: Canton-Potsdam Hospital Hours Per Week: 40 scheduled weekly hours Schedule: 8-hour days, 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday schedule with some nights and weekends as needed SUMMARY: As a Registered Nurse – Educator, your in-depth knowledge and outstanding communication skills are key in fostering quality care, enhanced wellness and ongoing growth and development throughout Rochester Regional. RESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluation. Identify and validate the learning needs of customers by utilizing needs assessments, CQI results, performance improvement results, customer surveys and course evaluation results; document the effectiveness of educational offerings by developing, monitoring and assessing competencies; analyze cost to maximize the efficient utilization of resources Development. Create educational programs and curriculum that promote quality healthcare, employee/patient growth and personal wellness; provide leadership in areas of expertise as a resource to the customer; develop communications and audio-visual materials that are clear and concise Implementation.
