Location: Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre (GSWB) Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: No Job Summary: $1500 Signing Bonus, if eligible; Full Time; Day 6am - 2:30pm; REQUIRES: CRCST from Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) AND three years related experience. Job Duties: Assists with the daily supervision and management activities related to department. Assists in maintaining departmental compliance with regulatory agencies, including Joint Commission and Department of Health. Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment dispensed by the department following established infection control practices. Directs the work of others in the absence of management personnel. Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
