Hours: 40-Hours, Days, 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday-Friday, Every third weekend rotation $38.00 - $50.14 Responsibilities: Essential Functions: - Assists in the supervision of the daily operations of the assigned department and the general Laboratory when required - Reviews the daily patient and quality control logs for errors, omissions and potential problems, and corrects as necessary - Collaborates with supervisor to confirm that instruments are maintained and preventive care is performed according to manufacturer’s guidelines - Recognizes, evaluates and is able to resolve instrument malfunctions - Assumes the duties and acts as the technical supervisor in his/her absence, including: workflow, quality assurance, inventory and ordering, administrative functions, etc. - Performs the more difficult, non-routine test procedures or assists/trains other technical staff in performing this duty. - Performs, evaluates, and accepts or rejects quality control values based upon stated guidelines; troubleshoots any unacceptabl...
