Work Location Manteca, CA Position Purpose: Under minimal supervision the Payroll Specialist is a key member of the HR and HR Ops team, and is responsible for various payroll related activities as well as supporting various areas of HRIS Success Factors Payroll. This role will interact with employees throughout the Company with an emphasis on Human Resources and Accounting. Functional Responsibility: Essential Duties: *Other duties may be assigned - Researches timekeeping exception items and takes proper corrective action - Calculates and processes payroll and deductions - Processes DTC Incentives, Hospitality Incentives, health insurance premiums and retirement contributions - Prepares and distributes payroll reports to management - Assists Accounting with payroll general ledger reconciliation - Maintains accurate payroll records and documentation - Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations - Responds to employee inquiries and payroll questions - Trains all new hires on timekeeping and payroll practices Non-Essential Duties: *Other duties may be assigned Minimum Requirements: Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of experien...
