As Ford accelerates its transition to an all-electric future, the Global Supply Manager will play a pivotal role in purchasing the critical components that drive our in-vehicle infotainment (IVI). This position focuses on delivering excellence for Ford's Sync Modules. You will manage complex global relationships, interacting with suppliers in North America and beyond, while collaborating with internal teams across North America, Europe, China, and our joint ventures (CAF and Ford Otosan). What you'll do... · Lead sourcing execution and strategy for our Sync Hardware Modules (Semiconductors, Memory, PCBAs, Mechanical components) across multiple programs · Own RFIs/RFQs, supplier selection, and contract execution with full commercial accountability · Drive cost performance using should-cost modeling, benchmarking, OCEs, and fact-based negotiations · Lead supplier negotiations to achieve best cost at Job 1 and support ongoing cost reduction initiatives · Partner with engineering to understand BOM structures, design intent, and key cost drivers · Support development and execution of commodity and supply base strategies, including pricing, tooling, and sourcing plans...
