Distillation Operator Location: Lakeland, FL, US: We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Distillation Operator to join our Operations Department at our Lakeland, FL site. Candidates must be willing to train on 1st shift and then be assigned to work on 3rd shift 10pm-7am Under general supervision, perform the duties required for the distillation process according to Firmenich’s safety, quality, housekeeping, service (punctuality) and cost standards. Your key responsibilities: - Responsible for the operation and monitoring of all Distillation equipment. This includes all associated tanks, pumps, and filtration equipment. - Responsible for start-up, monitoring and shutdown of Distillation utilities; cooling towers, glycol chillers, vacuum pump, air compressor, and computer control systems and responsible for transferring product to and from Distillation area and associated tank farms. - Proficient in the operation of Gas Chromatograph to monitor processes and evaluate product. - Maintains appropriate records, process orders, and log books of all work functions performed.
