The office of Career and Professional Success ( CaPS ) is seeking energetic and responsible students to join our team in the Fall! As a Student Ambassador, you will: Research and approve/decline employers in Handshake Post job and internship opportunities for employers on Handshake Assist with coordinating office events: Welcome and greet visitors at the front desk, assisting them as needed Monitor the CaPS office e-mail inbox, and handle messages accordingly Assist employers with Handshake, and troubleshoot any Handshake issues Maintain the bulletin boards around campus Attend/work CaPS events (career fairs, workshops, etc.), if interested/available Promote CaPS events, services, and opportunities, through: Career fairs Tabling events: In-class presentations: Faculty + dean partnerships: Workshops: Assist with projects and additional office duties, as assigned The ideal candidate will: Have strong professional phone/email etiquette skills and customer service skills Have strong written and verbal communication skills Have strong research and problem-solving skills Have experience promoting and executing DEAI initiatives Be able to learn quickly and adapt to changes Be willing to l...
