Job description

The Summer Camp Counselor leads engaging, age-appropriate activities and fosters a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for campers. This role is responsible for planning and facilitating daily camp programming while acting as a positive role model and ensuring camper safety and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Activity Leadership - Lead and supervise group activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, nature exploration, or themed educational sessions. - Adapt programming to meet the needs, abilities, and interests of different age groups. - Ensure all activities are safe, organized, and inclusive. Camper Engagement & Supervision: - Maintain a safe and supportive environment by actively supervising campers throughout the day. - Encourage participation, teamwork, and respectful behavior. - Monitor and respond to camper needs, including minor injuries, emotional support, and conflict resolution.
