Reporting to the Director of Compliance Advisory & Challenge, the Manager of Compliance will be responsible for a portfolio of critical compliance program functions within Amex Bank of Canada’s Compliance Advisory & Challenge team. The role will have four primary strategic components to it: This position must maintain a clear understanding of regulatory requirements, internal expectations, and processes across all lines of business to successfully control and mitigate risk. The role contributes to the development and maintenance of a strong Compliance regime and culture aligned with Canadian regulatory requirements and internal American Express policies. The role will also have responsibility for leading a team of two (2) Compliance Analysts and requires strong partnerships with business leadership teams and risk functions to ensure effective regulatory risk management.
