It is a non-partisan think tank providing expert policy analysis, educational and professional development services, and a hub for engaging with the region's arts and culture. Position Title: Research Assistant: Reports to: Vice President, Policy Center Status: Full-Time, Salaried, Non-Exempt: Location: On-Site | Washington, DC: Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000: About the role: The Middle East Institute, Washington’s oldest think tank devoted to the study of the region, seeks a Research Assistant to support the Policy Center’s programming and operations. The Research Assistant is a critical role within the MEI Policy Center, dedicated to supporting various research projects of MEI scholars, as well as managing logistics and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with a strong background in research, analysis, writing methodologies, and data analysis, as well as a demonstrated interest in the Middle East.
