Job DetailsJob Location: New Orleans, LA 70115Position Type: SeasonalSalary Range: $17.50 - $17.50 HourlyJob Shift: AnyWhat You'll Do: Supports the head coach in managing and training swimmers, ensuring the smooth operation of swim practices and fostering a positive team environment. Assist in planning, organizing, and running swim practices. Provide technical instruction to swimmers, focusing on stroke mechanics, starts, turns and endurance. Work with swimmers to improve their individual skills and help them reach their personal best. Offer feedback and encouragement to boost confidence and performance. Help execute daily practice schedules, ensuring they align with the overall training program and competition goals. Track swimmer’s progress. Observe swimmers’ technique during practice and provide corrective feedback. Assist in evaluating swimmer’s strengths and areas for improvement. Attend all swim meets. Assist in event preparation. Keep track of results of swim meets. Assist with team communication and promote team unity. Ensure that swimmers are practicing safely, enforce pool rules and assist with first aid if necessary.
