Overview: The Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) inspects and ensures that proper welding and radiographic procedures are qualified and utilized. In addition, the inspector will maintain appropriate documentation, including MTRs, detailed as-builts, and weld mapping. All activities must be performed per client specification and approved for construction drawings, API-1104, and industry standards. Responsibilities: The Welding Inspector works under the direction of the Chief Inspector, who will assign additional responsibilities to each inspector as needed.
