The analyst will be supervised by Dr. Jennifer Miksis-Olds (Center for Acoustics Research and Education within the Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans, and Space) at the University of New Hampshire. Duties & Responsibilities: Support the processing of passive acoustic recordings and echosounder data from the Gulf of Maine. Engage with collaborators and students to support ongoing lab programs and projects. Characterize broad metrics of marine soundscapes Participate in manual analysis of marine mammal and fish sounds from passive recordings Be involved with the processing of acoustic backscatter from echograms of fish and zooplankton.
