Sr. IT System Engineer (Contractor to Hire)

OPPO US Research Center is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on IT System Engineer to support our routine business. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows and macOS systems (hardware, software, and peripherals). - Manage and maintain Linux-based servers and related services. - Oversee user account management , device setup, and endpoint security. - Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions. - Ensure system and network security compliance , including patching and updates. - Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure IT systems align with business needs. - Maintain IT documentation, including configurations, policies, and procedures. - Provide remote and onsite IT support to employees as needed. Requirements: Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 2+ years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support. - Strong expertise in Windows and macOS environments. - Working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar). - Understanding of TCP/IP networking , VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls. - Experience...
